John Bottrell

As a musician, he's played for a variety of artists ranging from Christina Perri,

Keith Cullen, The Eyes, David Greco and the Northwest Sound, 

Jason Rueger, OK KADY, Sam Marsey, Starry Eyes, Collin Benward, 

and other bands/artists out of Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland.

As an engineer, he has toured with Mike Posner as his monitor engineer and keeps his live sound 

chops up at the International Ballroom in Beverly Hills and Aviator Nation Dreamland in Malibu. 

When not on the road, John spends time writing songs with local artists and making  albums -

usually utilizing live musicians, large format consoles, and 2 inch tape machines. 

John also works with Los Angeles Songwriters Collective 

which he helped establish in 2012.

In addition to live sound and event production, John also works consistently as a sound mixer

on feature film and tv sets.  As of 2024, he has a full location sound package available for rent.
